Jenny and Dan | Villa Montalvo Wedding Photographer

Last fall I had the pleasure of second shooting for friend and fellow photographer Chung Nguyen.

Jenny and Dan are one of Chung’s closest friends and naturally, Chung had to be their wedding photographer–they wouldn’t have it any other way.  I was very honored to be able to assist Chung and to be a part of Jenny and Dan’s special day.  Their wedding consisted of a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony and a Jewish wedding ceremony. It was so beautiful to see a blending of two cultures that have so many similarities.

This was my second opportunity working with Chung and I loved every moment of it.  When I was just starting out in photography, Chung was kind enough to let me shadow her on one of her portrait sessions and has been an invaluable resource to me and taught me quite a bit about the biz.  It’s rare to meet people who are passionate about what their work and are completely selfless in helping out those who are just starting out. Thank you, Chung, for allowing me to be a part of the special day.
